The Terraplane has a very different string anchoring system. No tailpiece is present to vibrate and rattle against the coverplate. This system puts greater string tension against the bridge saddle for increased tone and volume. A unique pickup raising-lowering system allows the instrument to be used in either an acoustic or electric mode.
